Spaceship Earth

through thought and time we stray down the uncertain path, seeking desperately to apprehend the changeless, the eternal, grasping with all our being at the heels of the intangible. inevitably we fail, subdued by the ever-present truth of our very existence, the truth of all existence... the changeless IS changing, seeking balance eternal.

I took a couple other variations of this that came out pretty decent, perhaps I'll upload one or 2 later. I wanted to use a grad filter for the foreground but didnt feel I had time to set it up as this shoot was fairly spontaneous. The more I look at this though I think I actually like the blackness, to me it kinda represents the "unknown" and the uncertain reality of what may happen when our balance is upset.
